Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
The short version: no tracking, no cookies, no analytics. If you join the waitlist we store your email address and nothing else, and use it only to contact you about askalf. When you self-host askalf, your data never leaves your infrastructure.
What we collect on askalf.org
askalf.org is a static site hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We run:
- No analytics, no cookies, no trackers. The only third-party scripts are Google Fonts (typography) and Cloudflare Turnstile (anti-abuse on the waitlist form).
- Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP address, user agent, request URL) as part of operating their infrastructure. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
The waitlist
If you submit your email to the waitlist:
- We store the email address you give us (in Cloudflare Workers KV, in our Cloudflare account), along with the time you signed up.
- We use it for one thing: contacting you about askalf availability and early access. No sharing, no selling, no unrelated marketing.
- Signups pass through Cloudflare Turnstile to filter bots. Turnstile may process connection data to make that decision; see Cloudflare's policy above.
- Want off the list? Email [email protected] and we'll delete your entry.
Self-hosted askalf
When you run askalf on your own infrastructure:
- Your data stays on your servers. The platform does not phone home, transmit telemetry, or send any of your data to us.
- AI model calls go directly from your server to your chosen provider under their terms (e.g. Anthropic).
Third-party services
- Cloudflare: hosting, CDN, and Turnstile. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts: typography. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Open source
askalf's building blocks — dario, hands, deepdive, agent, browser-bridge, claude-sync, and more — are MIT-licensed at github.com/askalf. You can inspect exactly what they do; none of them contain trackers or telemetry.
